I have just moved into my dorm yesterday and set up my pc. While trying to find a server in BF2 I noticed that it would not desplay any unless their ping is 0. I tried a few of these servers and it said I need to check my connection. I tried playing counter strike source and no servers would show up in the server search. I dont know if its my connection or my pc, any help?

I would check the restrictions on your dorm connection. Schools usually have pretty butthole tight security on their networks. -

Yes. I'd imagine that they either have certain ports blocked at a limit on the connections per second that prevents you from getting a server list.
Search for a thread with 'hotel' in it and grab the IP addresses listed and use the manual connect to test.Comment
