cant join ranked servers???

when i try to join the ranked server, after all the loading is complete and i click on "join game", it says "cannot join this server. only players with unmodified content can join. revert to the current official version of Battlefield 2 to join." or something like that. do i need a patch? any suggestions?

make sure you have the most current patch and have punkbuster enabled.Also if you installed a mod of somesort that is not EA approved, ranked servers will not let you play.

when i installed the game i didnt chose to enable punkbuster, how would i do that now?

login to bf2 under multiplayer for server filters check punkbuster. if its not there u might have to reinstall bfs and enable or install it during the install of BF2.
