If you downloaded it from fraps site the trial what ever you want to call it, yes you can record sound, under the Movies tab in Fraps there should be a small check box under Video capture hotkey which should say Record Sound, usually when you first download fraps its unchecked by default to save up on size so whatever you record doesnt come out to be a huge file. So yea there you go.
btw the trial version is the one where you use fraps and all your vids have that watermark on top. IF then yes all i said before should work.
That still doesnt seem to work. I have the 'Record sound' box checked and I chose 'Use Windows Input'. Should that be 'Detect best sound input'? Also odd: Fraps detected my headset as the 'sound device'. Should I unplug the headset?
