I want to try bombing enemy forces like they do in movies. Like Tears of the sun and We were soldiers.

I mean I'm sure its possible for a bomber to be good enough to strike a certain area. So how about somebody set a server up and password it so we can pratice this.

Say your playing on the ground. Enemy is coming at you full force. You call for a plane to drop some bombs at the area. I mean come on! You never heard of that?

Like napalm? But the enemy never attacks in overwhelming force. It would be pretty much pointless.

I know what you mean though. I can't believe there's not a voice thing for "I need an air strike on this target!" for neither the commander nor squad leaders/members. And when I'm flying, there should be a "Jet requesting a target" so that someone can spot something for you to go kill.

yea they really need an airstrike radio request....or even better a laser painter for one or two of the classes and laser guided bombs on the bomber

There are plenty of times on Ohman(called whatever) where your being flanked by the enemy out in the open near those shore flags.

Well, if they started making laser guided bombs, if games get too one sided (i.e. gulf of oman, pushing MEC back to their HQ) then it would be like neverending artillery all over their faces. Arty from commander; big, laser guided bombs; they wouldn't really stand a chance at breaking out.

There is a arty request thing, you need to be a squad leader. Hold down T, and choose your request, or press caps lock, right click any where you want a request. I think this is what your on about? Not too sure. :hmm:

I agree about the jet requesting a target, and maybe a heli one too, or just watch out for when people spot stuff.

Yeah I would prefer that option than the artillery. At first I thought that it was great but it's get annoying after a while as it should be the job of planes, they cary bombs afterall ...
