Hey this is my mini guide to pwn with commander
1. Be commander
2. Take arty at their base. Or where its alot of ppl.
3. Get out of commander. And then apply again after a few seconds.
4. Let the arty bombs kill ur enemy before accepting to be commander.
5. Congrats uve just earned 30 points...

Anyone might take the commander position away from u. But I am taking that risk.

That's basically called an exploit in my book, but hey everybody's doing it right?

This guy http://bf2tracker.com/bf2_usercmbsta...bf2id=44515576 CHucky 666 does it all the time on the 24/7 karkand server I'm on, oh and look! he's an exploiter! oh my gosh who would have guessed?! Fistfullofclams does it too. You should know Julskinkis, we play on the same Karkand server.

what? i don't get it. i get the part where you arty an area where there's a lot of enemies... but why do you have to resign as commander? so you won't get punished for tks??? but still, since you issued the arty when you were the commander, wouldn't you still be punished?

please explain again.

You don't get points for arty kills when your commander so by briefly resigning as commander before the artillery kills them you receive points for the kills before resuming your duty as commander. A clever tactic.

thanks, oxy. i didn't know about that because even though i'm a sergeant, i only have, like, 30 minutes of commander time. i find it SO boring!

~btw, is there a time limit where you have to press page up to accept the commander position before it expires? something like 30 seconds maybe?

um it wont count as commander points, you might get 30 points but its not 30 commander points. and when it comes to the 2x bonus, it will only double your commander points not ur whole score.

True. You shouldn't get the 2x points for all the kills.

Its a stat padding issue. Now that this is out...many admins on various servers will keep an eye out for it.

Seems legit to me.

If you can switch back without anyone on your team beating you to it, or getting pissed and booting yuou - then keep it up !

It's an exploit, but whatever. Only the commander score gets 2x. He is just getting combat points.
