he could've been using any card upwards of a 6600gt, he made the vid with battlerecorder, it's not like fraps, you can put your settings way up and max out aa/af and all it'll cost you is time to render the frames, and you'll still get a perfectly smooth video, also the bitrate is pretty high so theres no artifacts in the vid

wow!! those graphics are amazing from what i have. I have a ge-force fx 5700LE!! with only 512MB of ram! I have no shadows or anything, not even the sun reflection in the water!

Well if he has a 7800gtx or 2 for that matter it doesnt atcually improve image quality just the fps. yeah maybe the textures might look a little cleaner then a 6800gt but nothing really noticable. That guy also used a effect for that movie a blur effect. And anyone here can make a movie like that with a decent system like my sig or higher or maybe a little lower.

Clearly the graphics are just the high settings, what you're seeing is added video-effects... Completely unrelated to the actual graphics.

The guy could've used a 9700 Pro for all you know.

No its not just effects. Look at the chopper when its taking off. no way that was made after the recording.

I haven't had experience with battlecorder so I wouldnt know if you could alter graphics there...


Anyway, Im upgrading to 2 gig also and planning to get a better graphics card when I get hands on more money.

BTW Anyone have any clue what program he might have used to create the effects and stuff? I like those effects.

I'm going to have to agree, though to be honest, it really doesn't look any different than what I play on -- everything maxxed, 1600x1200 with 6x AA. It just looks like added an anti-alias and accent layer which can be done with most editing software out there.

There was a guy on here that posted this video saying that he made it.. It was ages ago, Before BF2 Officaly came out im sure of it, the demo version.
