How do you defuse mines?

Im a n00b and i was wondering how you defuse mines for vehicles that engineers plant and such.

Be an engineer and use the wrench.

Engineers can also defuse C4, even though it's kind of pointless because either you're being watched, or the guy who's using it is dead. So just don't try. :P And I hear they can deactivate claymores, though I have yet to see it done.

I'll go try it....in game it will probably be hard because most of the claymores are at tops of ladders so you can't even get to them.

Just spawn as sniper and throw one down; suicide, spawn as engineer; try it...
