Why doesn't this game have a Queue to join server?

So many times I want to join my friends on a server but its full. I sit there spamming connect to try to get on...really annoying.

Over teamspeak my friend tells me when the round is about to end and then I spam invite.

Why don't they have a "Queue"...something like this:

Hm.. that's a great idea. So basically when someone disconnects, the first person in the queue joins the game, and the whole queue moves up 1?

Then they'd have to add another display in the server browser for 'people in queue', and add some sort of filter for it.

It's a nice idea though, if done right, then it could really help.

Actually when you press 'YES' it displays this dialog:



When you press 'NO' is spits you back to the server browers.

Once you connect it will load the map (like if it wasn't full).

Ping filter? Actually if you type in say "150," into the box where it says ping you can filter the list of servers.

If you press the little yellow button it will sort the pings. The above image I have it sorting the pings from lowest (top) to highest (bottom).

Well, Harmor mentioned one.

I guess I'm looking for the CS:S kind where you pick a range (do it once) and only those display. Then every time you load up, it only displays the servers in that ping range. This would make me do less work (type in the ping number click the arrow.. ) and speed up the server brower (as it auto eliminates all servers about 100 ping).

css filter was great, the waiting in line for a server was great, even let you join asap or gave a message would you like to join now or something. Would be great if these things were updated.

The interface is horrible. Too much time trying to make it look pretty, instead of efficient.

Steam's interface is simple and to the point. It's so easy to use. The best part of it is that binding keys is EASY. I keep getting messages about "Duplicate key found in common controls" in BF2. I look in common controls, I don't see that key anywhere. Horrible horrible horrible.
