Installed new maps and my computer crashed

I installed new maps to the eagames/battlefield2/mod/bf2/level directory and once the yet to verifying map it crashes. am i doing something wrong

Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels

there should be a client and server file, (they open in .rar for me) and a info folder

Where do you unzip the client and server to same file?

just place the client and server .zip/.rar whatever they are in there

Done that but not working, can ou play them in single player mode?
