BF2 graphical glitches so bad its unplayable!

My problem: Just got my new rig yesterday. I load up bf2

My rig:

AMD 3500
Asus EAX800XL 256MB
MSI NEO4 PLATINUM
1GB DUAL CHANNEL DDR400


wtf

its not always like this..but ill get near a vehicle, and its like a 2 pt perspective drawing, and its crazy..its unplayable!!!!!! (

It looks like you either have some driver files left over on your hard drive from a previous install; you are experiencing excessive heat at the card; you didn't install the latest motherboard drivers or you didn't install the latest video drivers. Perhaps?

Just did the video drivers. no excessive heat on card....

sicne it's a new system, did you install the motherboard drivers properly? and are they the most recent and correct version?

i had the same problem when i played Joint ops i found out i needed to update my gfx Drivers.

Uninstall the driver, delete the folder, download the latest from web site to desktop, reboot. Turn off virus scan, install driver, reboot. Make adjustments for resolution etc.

well if its your drivers go to control panel ,system , then harware , Device Manager then it will show a list of drivers u need to click display adapters then your gfx card will show up right click on the gfx card and it says update drivers.Then it will start updating your gfx Drivers.

try formatting the computer? i got some new parts (mobo,cpu,gpu) and used my old hard-drive but i had to format the computer to get it to run properly.

Lol i had that problem on bf1942 i just reintal the game and the problem was fixd :p ..

those problems just started happening to me when i installed the new cats... stupid ati

the game ran totally fine until today when i installed the new drivers. i have a 9800 pro 128 and i get those same exact black things

You need to uninstall the 5.7 Cat before you install the 5.8.

READ THE DIRECTIONS PEOPLE!

USE THE ATI UNINSTALLER

http://www2.ati.com/drivers/cat-uninstaller.exe

Then Install 5.8.
