Team Switch/Team Kill

Anyone seen this happen before. I was playing MEC & saw a Black Hawk take off from the enemy base, so I pulled my jet in behind it & fire a couple of missiles. They dropped flares, so I started using the cannon & slowed down to get more shots in. I killed both crew in the helo & got the usual Gungho[kills]xxx Gungho[kills]yyy. I misjudged the speed & stalled into the ground, but as I died I was team switched to the US team. As I spawned I got two TK punishments !
Its obviously a bug, as they were enemy kills (not TKs) when I made them, I've never seen this happen before !

It seems the server registers the teamswitch BEFORE the kill. It's happened to me once or twice when there was a double kill. Not much you can do.
