Extra point for Top Scores?

*I tried to post this is the polls forum but it wouldn't let me, thread error.

Do you guys think that you should get additional points if your name appears on the Tops Scores page between rounds? Say an extra 10 points or so for being "Best Assault" or "Best Flag Capture" and whatnot?

And what about extra points for the top 3?
30 for 1st, 20 for 2nd, 10 for 3rd or something similar?

the top scores thing is not so got...many times the same players rules in many thing = MANY POINTS...but i like the top 3 thing...sounds good

hell no, think about BH whores, they get like 200 points in 1 round

i think the whole "top score" thing isnt a good idea, since you could get 10 points just for shooting down 1 aircraft in a game with stationary AA if everyone else suck with it. however, the "points for the 3 first places" seems really good.

great idea wish it was put in, all my gold medals would be worth something but no i got 190 pieces of crap that are worthless!

top squad would be a good one, ppl would work together to get that extra bonus

Nay, the game turns into ring around the rosey enough as it is. Stick this is and you'll really see nobody defending. It'll look more like Buggy Racing 2 than Battlefield 2. 5-10 points for winning the map would be nice though.

sad thing is, this is a good idea, and a bad idea all in one. I would be good for those of us that actually work hard in a level and really get the points, but bad because of those people that just, as said before, run around capturing points and not really doing anything else. I like the top squad extra points idea...though that could be easily abused as well. Human beings suck lol
