Ok i have a Asus A8v-e deluxe mobo whick only lets you oc to 10% wich is kinda blah for me cause i have the 3200 + venice 939 and i know that chip is KNOWN for overclocking....

So the only way for me to overclock is to do it manually..

Does anyone here have experience with this????

    If so please reply.

FYI Via Chipsets aren't know for the overclocking prowess.

Depending upon the quality of your RAM, you may be able to get decent results. I have the A8V deluxe and it OC's nicely with a few voltage incrases for the DIMMS and the CPU.

The way to go is to lower your CPU multiplier a divider and then enable the AGP/PCI lock. Then start increasing your hypertransport bus up. If things go well, you can get the hypertransport bus up to 250Mhz (from 200). This will allow you to keep the HT bus running at the full 1000Mhz yielding the best performance.

My Newcastle 3500+ is running great at 2.5Ghz by using a 10X multiplier and a 250 HT bus. Your RAM may be the limiting factor however.
