Sounds like he made them up. If you create your own squad name, and then someone creates a squad afterwards, then their squad will take the name that yours would have if you didn't create your own name.

I've actually always wondered about this and I'm not sure if BF2 uses the same alphabet, seeing as how G = Gamma in the game.

Our last 3 letters in the alphabet are those wacky vowels with umlauts, Å Ä and Ö. Some kind compensation for the lack of those I guess, he must have found them in the English letters section of the Swedish soldier manual... AA, AE and OE.
Anyhow why would we need to see the whole alphabet, bub? Thought this thread would be about custom named squads :|
