Has anyone else installed them and noticed a serious slow down? Earlier I was using the editor and with minimal visual settings on (grid mode, no sky etc..) and I was getting 0.5fps. Before I installed the new drivers I was getting 30fps, with detailed texture mode on + undergrowth and overgrowth and sky before I installed the drivers I was getting about 30fps then as well. These new drivers have made it practically impossible for me to use the editor.

well not on my 9800 on my x700 i still havent tried the old drivers. just the 5.8 ones and its going great soo far. basicly it varies from computers -

Installed the new drivers and I'm warping now
. My drivers are allmost more than one year old and they never let me down. I should have checked wich version I had before.

I've reverted back to 5.5 as this seems work well for me.
@Sniper_13: You have old drivers on your 9800 and 5.8 on your X700? or tother way round? I have a 9800 Pro and you know the story.
@MindBlowing: Usually when you install the drivers the installation files are left in "C:\ATI\SUPPORT" in a folder called something like "5-8_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_25203" (where the 5-8 refers to the version number) Perhaps your installation files are still there even after all this time?Comment
