Increase view distance ?

Hi,

is it possible to incrase the view distance apart from setting it to 100% ?

The reason is that I see people shooting at me with vehicles while beeing in the heli (and sometime on foot) but I can't see the vehicles ... same for planes, I can't see shit and on top of that you have the fog ... . Is it limited by the graphic card (ATI 9700 pro) or by the game ?

Supposedly you can edit a file and increase your view distance without PB complaining. Wouldn't be surprised if a few people were actually doing this.

Maybe you were the guy I nailed with a bhawk gun last night on Gulf of Oman. We had just taken off from the carrier and I couldnt see the shoreline yet, so I decided to spray wildly, and got a kill! :)

My viewdistance is at 100%, I havent edited anything. Maybe sometimes theyre just lucky kills.
