No idea, I think it's silly that you can only sprint going forward and there's no strafing while sprinting whatsoever.

there shouldnt be any sprinting while strafing

in anycase you should atleast be able to shoot your pistol while sprinting

Just on a side note, shooting while jumping is useless anyway except at close range. Not only is your accuracy very bad but your moving so it's hard to aim properly.
