Who thinks this game is serously messed up?

I played another game yesturday, and i found that BF2 was messed up after playing a game that isnt.

EA games is freaking lazy and retarded along with Dice.
THE RECOIL PHYICS ARE MESSED UP!
they took a cheap way of making the recoil.
the recoil doesnt move the gun sight, but instead just makes the bullets more random in pattern as the guns sights spread out. other games dont do this and make much more sence. with the other games, the recoild makes the sight jump and move. you have to counter act that so you dont loose accuracy.
but this game is messed up. instead of that, it makes you seem as if your shooting from the hip with your eyes closed using your feet, holding your gun behind your head.

ah no, i dont have a no recoil hack.
when i say doesnt move, i mean no bounch of the sight that affects anything related to ware your bullets hit.

- Stand 20m from a wall and pull out your pistol, making sure you're close enough to see the bullet holes in the wall.
- Look down the sight of the pistol and line up a spot directly ahead of you.
- Without moving the mouse to correct for the recoil, click fire until your clip is empty.
- Take a look at the bullet hole pattern on the wall.
- Repeat the process firing faster and slower, using different guns etc.

... the recoil simulation seems alright to me!

yeah, dude i know that, the pistal is like the only gun that does that.

The other weapons, when looking down the sights anyway, seem to perform just the same way as the pistol. (Actually I haven't tried the support machine guns, I am going off the assault rifles)

If you want to 100% confirm/debunk this, the code for accuracy and recoil modifiers is in the games script files, waiting to be analysed...


I know what you are talking about though - you'd like to see your arms bouncing around when you shoot, and the position of your arms determine where the bullet will land.

Support guns ride up even when sighted, you have to pull it down.

yea but that doesnt mean the accuracy becomes better. the bullets dont just go ware the sights ride up. instead it just gets more random in bullet pattern. thats why you have to do short bersts. not cause of the recoil, cause the sight spreads out and gets more random, by using bursts, you alow the crosshairs to have time to come back to the center, not cause the sights ride up from recoil.

It seems as though they just did the bear essencials to make it a good game.

They could have dont ALOT more espicially with that nice game engine.
