meh....its karkand....not karkland. I dont know why thats so annoying to me but w/e...anyways, just go on a map with AA like a linebacker or something and get 11 kills with it. I went on Dragon Valley and hopped in a linebacker, and got 11 kills, giving me the ribbon. of course you could also be commander and get on a stinger and get 11 arty kills but the AA thing is much much easier.
I got mine playing the dialian power plant...or however you spell it... I have to tell you, I did not shoot down one aircraft the whole game when I got the ribbon. Its just based on kills, not aircraft kills. so just know that when trying to get it. I was defending a base and they kept coming on foot...flak + soldier = dead soldier
and people wondered why i was posting those all awards things.

I didn't know SPAA will give you the ribbon, does the carrier AA count aswell?
I would imagine the AA on the USS Essex would count too, but I dont know for sure (it counts in the Air Defence category at the end of the round anyways)
the easy thing to do is jump in a mobile aa drive around and shoot at ppl, seeing as it's luck if you ecver shoot anything out of the sky in the game it's easier to go after ppl on the ground or in light vehicles like cars and the like the flack works great against troops on the ground and fav and hummers. just wach out for thoose anti tank boys

It does. Thats how I got mine. Idiot enemy pilots kept coming over to strafe the flight deck and as soon as they did a fly by, I'd hop in the AA battery and let loose. It took just one map to get for me as they just never learned and kept comming back for more AA fun! I did take down a friendly blackhawk while I was at it but in my defense, he flew right infront of an enemy jet just after I had lock-on. Four missiles later and all that was left was a smoking wreck that was a blackhawk and the burning remains of an enemy MiG falling into the ocean.
