Yep, in game you dont notice that very much, cause you have more importants things to care off while playing, but when watching a video all the work the editor has put in just isnt enough to hide the lack of blood.

Its not realistic. Period.

Yeah man lack of blood is pretty noticable in most games. but i think to create even a half realistic blood program would be difficult and probably be done badly and make the game worse. lol. can u impagine bf2 with kill bill style blood effects!!!! woah!

In an interview video on Scott Evans, Executive Producer on the Battlefield series said
They didn't totally want to give it a realistic feel, they still wanted a some bit of arcade style to it.

"Battlefield 2 is a T rated game, we want to keep it there. We want the game to be accessable to a wide-audience, and we feel we can deliver - a sense of all out war and online combat without kind of the gorey details that a lot of other products are dealing into." said Scott Evans.

Of course someone could build a movie modification...or the newer movies that are shooting for realism, can try the Project Realism mod.

The PR mod I heard does or is going to have a blood system.

I don't know, the absense of blood doesn't bother me. I am not one of those who say "omg blood doesn't belong in a game!11" either but.. it's not a big deal IMO.

It's not really hard to do. The tournament I work with has a mini-mod that allows us to do a few things that isn't possible with vanilla bf2, and one of the things thrown in just to see how it would turn out was blood. Mind you it's not the same kind of blood you'd see in quake 3 or the soldier of fortune games, but it's noticeable and looks good.

I think it would be nice to have an "expansion pack" for BF2 that is rated M, and then people could have the best of both worlds, without parents complaining.

I think EA would like the idea, cuz then they would be able to suck more money out of us.
