    GF6800LE and FPS problems!

This sunday I bought me a XFX GF6800LE and opened 3 pipes and OC'ed him, so now its stronger than GF6800NU :)
The problem is, while everything has more FPS than the 9800PRO I had, only BF2 seems to be working like crap!
With 9800PRO I ran it at 1024x768, all Medium and 4xAA, and now it can barly run at these settings! I get around 1-50 fps but most of the time its at 15FPS...
    WTF IS GOING ON?!
I have ForceWare 77.77, AGP arpeture size settings didnt help (256MB gave me a 1-2 FPS improvment but hey...)
Thx for anyone who will help me or tries to :)

Hmm, try updating your motherboard drivers. Also, try running the card at stock speeds, I heard that OC'ing your card might cause problems.

Yeah, BF2 seems to have a problem with OC'ed cards.

Well my friend has a 6200, and he gets Medium. On yours, you should atleast get High for some of them.

              Re: GF6800LE and FPS problems!

why does everyone say that bf2 has problems with o'clocked cards. I had a crappy ATI 9700 non pro stock cooled and got it too work, it wasnt pretty but it worked.
i put a artic cooler on it and it got a lot better.
Yesterday i got me Evga 6800. I immeadily unlocked the pipes and over clocked it. I started at 325/700 now im at 380/761, this is with 768mb of ram. the only hang ups i get is when i spawn in, after that its butter.
...I would suggest turning the game settings to medium with 2xaa and let the O'Clock help your graphics look better. Thats My formula for success....good luck.

6800 LE isnt a very good card, I think it goes 6800 LE < 6800 < 6800 GT < 6800 Ultra. I'm not surprised you can't play on High settings. You shouldn't have expected to to begin with.

you bought a slower card than the one you already owned. take it back.
It only makes about 4 fps more than an ATI 9600xt. Your 9800 is a faster card, thats why it works better.

Hat Leadtek bei seiner WinFast 7800 GT für 399 € zu viel abgespeckt, oder kann sie übertaktet sogar die GTX schlagen?

"The card is identical to the standard 6800 as far as looks and size are concerned, however, its slightly under-powered. With a little help from Scott Wasson at The Tech Report, we believe that the number of pixel pipelines has been reduced from 12 to 8 although we haven’t received any info from nVidia. The core has also been dropped from 325 to 320 although memory size and speed remain identical to the 6800 - 128MB/350MHz (or 700MHz DDR). We asked for a price indication and were told that the card should be about 30% less than the standard 6800 which would put it at under US$200"

Do you run Xfire? My brother uses that and teamspeak and whenever he plays, his FPS are absolute $hit. I play without em and get 45+ always, he plays with em on often falls into the 20s and below.

                        Y'all don't know what you'r talking about!
First of all I formated my PC :)
Second, 6800LE is stronger than 9800PRO.
Third, I opened 3 pipes and OC'ed it so now its stronger than 6800NU...
                        :)
