Asking about awards

I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about them.. I dunno.. lowering some of the requirements for aquiring Medals, Badges and Ribbons. I mean I know that it is supposed to be a challenge, but some of it is just ridiculous.

I'd like to be able to feel I am making some progress in the game, but requiring 250-500 hours as each class to earn a vetern badge seems a little excessive to me. Not to mention the hour requirements on some on the medals and having to sit in a stinger array 750 hours? I just don't see a casual gamer attaining any of this. And I just wish there was someway that I could so that I would feel like I could actually beat the game is some way...

Alright, Im just ranting. Any thoughts? Or any links to a petition for this I can sign?

i dont know why people whine about this... the medals are there to show progress. youre not supposed to be able to get them all. If everyone got all the medals then they wouldnt prove anything.

and also.. THEY DONT DO ANYTHING. its just a progress mark. This is like saying "How come i dont have 10,000 posts in totalbf2.com how do you guys expect normal people to get 10,000 posts? id have to do nothing but post here all day!!! is there some sort of petition i can sign to have the forum admins add 9000 posts to my post count?

You know you can't sit there and complain about his post when you post that you hate this and hate that.. that is more annoying to me. So let him ask and learn to step back and say well maybe the guy is new or maybe he wants to just ask a silly question. Take a freakin chill pill man...................

I totally agree with you, it is a mark that you have gotten to a point in the game. It's just with the marks being seemingly out of grasp for a casual gamer or someone with any sort of life it just seems like the game will lose its appeal. Im not making any progress towards anything soon... just slowly plugging away adding 100 points a round to my rank total and hoping to eventually get a little badge and maybe, if I play for 5 hours a day for the next year, get a better medal than the Purple Heart and the Gold/Silver/Bronze.

I just like games where on a consistant basis and not extremly long periods of time, I can feel like I am making some progress.

I can understand some of the Medals, but one requires like 3000 Hrs as Command, 2000 as Squad Lead/Member:cry: , And playing a few hours a day since the games release has only gotten me to 32 Member, 26 leader and 12 commander.

But I know, I should stop whining and start palying and maybe I'll get them sooner

I think it isn't the goal to reach every gold award, this is just the point, you should only get the gold award for the class you play the most and which you are best in.

This is what EA said before the game came out : " it will be possible to look up players and see what players are good at what"

Now, if you find a player who has gold as a medic, you know he is good as a medic , but if you would find everybody with everything gold, well, whats the point

I want to be a "Captain" on this forum. why is the requirement 1,000 posts? please make it 50 so i can be a captian.
