There not just passing out ammo!!! they are shooting the wall and reloading only to get ammo from the other support!!!!

didn't see that, well they are exploiting, but still, this doesn't mean that every high rank dude is an exploiter, only a very small amount of players is actualy exploiting.
And you can't overdo it, because when it becomes to clear (like having 1 round score of 300 points, or having a bigger heal/support score then anything else) your stats are going to get whiped out.

EA said, in patch 1.03 they would do something about the exploiting

Then he must be a sucky statspadder. You get what.....1 point for every ammo pack?? Plus you need to emtpy one clip..OR half a clip and then reload before you can actually pick up a ammo pack, so it takes a while to get a point then.

Yeah..... i think that the kinda "playing" we have here is quite abismal, sure most of us have thought about doin it this way but then a sense of honour comes over you (most of us) and we realise that we would rather earn points by slaughtering the enemy and over-running their territory but again some ppl are more worried about the stripes they wear rather than the way they are earned. unfortunately all we can do is leave these sad individuals to their own demise

Hmmm... I don't actually see anything conclusive in that screenshot. (I concede that I wasn't there like you were and don't have the proper context, but still...)

If I'm not playing AT, I'm playing support. (*lovingly pats his PKM*) After any and all firefights, I unload all my ammo packs and then move on. I'm too impatient to stand there holding the bag so people can slowly fill up. I don't do this because of any silly points; I do this because this is my role. Get it? Support class? His role is to supply ammo? Understand?

Stop giving support guys a bad rap just because you don't understand the concept of class roles and teamwork. Thanks.

no conclusive proof? if a support needs ammo he gives it to himself. If he wants ammo points he gives it to another player. if that other player is a support u can go on forever with the ammo trading. Beef said they were shooting into the wall. Soo if u say these guys are not padding, then u are calling Beef a liar. Get real.

I hope you are not serious. If you are, then you are pretty daft. Using your logic, I guess Dice encourages stat padding since apparently that's the only reason they created the Medic and Support classes in the first place. Like you just said, one only gives health and ammo packs to teammates to gain points, not because it's of any other use. And if that's the case, then what's the point of this thread really.


Edit #1: Okay, I took a closer look at the screenshot. To the OP: Are you saying those two guys are both Support and are standing there together all alone giving each other ammo? I don't know--again, I concede I wasn't there and don't know the context (i.e., maybe there were other assault players just off-screen)--but still, that's a pretty slow way to stat-pad. And even if they were, not that I condone stat padding, but how exactly does their action affect you specifically?

Edit #2: And Real_CaGeD, I apologize for calling you daft. It was I who was daft for not realizing your "rules for ammo giving" were only applying to two Support guys all alone.

The thing that bugs me is that more than half your team doesn't even contribute to the fight -- they just run around throwing ammo and first aid kits all over the place.

Was playing Karkand this morning and I swear I was the only guy fighting.

There should be a stop to the point whores. Though i do believe that it's okay if you have skill to back it up(still with some exceptions). like using the apc on the alleys is just never acceptable. But like using c4 i belive is okay as long as thats not all you do. Also you should never use the grenade launcher as you main weapon.
