I was playing a 64 player karkand and killed a guy with a G3. I decided what the heck, and swapped in my PKM for it. It's like my perfect play style, no noobtoobing, and insanely good in semi auto. Guess that's my Sergeant unlock . Then I tried to take out a sniper at 100m or so. Took 3 shots to hit once and killed, but I wasn't even proned. Plenty accurate for me. SOme say its just an AK47. But do all three teams have one? That's what I like the most about unlocks, you only have to get used to one gun fo0r each kit no matter what team you pick. I was also considering the G36 but I rarely play as spec ops and assault is becoming my favorite secondary class.

I love my G3 and I prefer standard grenades to noobtubes.

I love the G3, and I don't miss the nubelauncher at all when I use it. I've stopped using the PKM completely and started going with the G3.

The sights are tight, the accuracy is there, and the power is amazing.

I unlocked this medic rifle. In single shot mode, it's as useful as a "light sniper" weapon

the g3 was my first unlock and to be honst i hardley ever use it now the 20 shot mag makes it fairly unuseable as a assault wepaon.

When EA/Dice and Nvidia threw the release party in San Francisco, one of the guys from Dice was asked in a review which weapon was the best one in the game, he pretty much point blank said the G3.

Went on to say how one of the guys on the dev team actually used the weapon when he was in the army and made sure it was modeled accurately in the game.

Take it for what it’s worth, that’s what he said during the webcast interview.

My unlock (only one so far ) was the G3 , i´m very satisfied , only drawback is the 20 round mag
But 2-3 rounds will kill so why use auto ?
I have tried all the weapons and i think the G3 is the one that makes more difference regarding the standard ones .

its a damn good gun but they need to give more mags i dont see why the m16 gets 6 and all others get 4 funny if you ask me. if the g3 got like 6-7 mags i would use it always but i love the nade luancher for those closed in areas were a squad of 6 guys are sitting healing eachother pop a noobtube at them bam there all dead.

the only problem that i found with the g3 is that it doesn't have the Grenade launcher to kill people that sololy use Grenade launcher. Its also pretty inaccurate. But i will not deny the stopping power. I love using it in karkand in the alleys. I usually can kill like 3-4 people just from shooting there feet out.
