Alright, I need some opinions from you guys before I decide what I unlock at sergeant. It is a tie between the G3 and the M95. I have already unlocked the Dao-12 and the PKM, and I have tried out the G3 and the M95. Now, I know there are some things wrong with sniping, however one side of me says I will have more fun sniping because I will not constantly be getting 203'ed and such, but another says get the G3 because it hands down puts people down. I am most likely considering the M95 because I know Staff Sergeant isn't until 50,000 and that would make me play about twice as much as I have, so I might not make it for a long time, but I don't want to leave the G3 behind if you know what I mean. My other question is can you get the helicopter ribbon playing as the gunner in an attack helo? Thanks and happy gaming.

go for the G3 ive been regretting unlocking the M95 ever i got it.
the m95 works great for some people, but i prefer the m24, and id personally choose the G3 over the m95 -

I too have serious regret unlocking the m95, thought It would interest me more in sniping, completely the opposite (which to most people is probably a good thing)
Between the 2, i would unlock the g3
Yes the nade launcher is lost (to those that use it consistantly why do you care if you ever unlock any other weapons at all?)
But the total damage done by the g3 both far away and up close makes it a great weapon. When i have picked this up off a dead guy, i usually get 6 or 7 kills before i finally get taken down.Comment

The G3 is powerful, accurate and a robust gun to shoot with despite the fact that it lacks a grenade launcher and has a 20 round clip. The M95 has more power then the M24, but does not seem to be as accurate in use.
Personally I'd go the G36C as its an awesome weapon to use, but that's me.Comment

I unlocked the M95 and it is a waste of my time.
I still use it because it is still good for the occasional kill against a enemy sniper or even a heli pilot. That M95 should be ONE SHOT ONE KILL even if it hit the enemy in the big toe.
I play other games where the sniper rifles were accurate and powerful enough to actually instill hatred in the masses of noobs foolish enough to run out into the open.Comment

G3. Much more robust than the m95. I find the m95 to be too touchy, have to be standing still for 1 second and 1 second after scoping to have a remote chance of hitting someone. Which up close/medium means you get raped by the other guys noobtube or automatic sniper rifle. Then at long ranges prone sitting perfectly still 30% woulkd be a good accuracy with it.Comment

yes you can get teh ribbon flyign shotgun in a chopper, and personally in my experiance with firearms the g3 is one hell of a rifle. i have only used it once in game but i know a few ppl who have started useing it exclusively and they love it. it is as they describe it a assault rifle you can snipe with. the g3 fires a 7.62x51mm (.308 Win) round @ 600 RPM now in game obviousally it is different it is after all a game. but from reality it is superbe. in games i use it alot they seem to carry it's charecteristics from game to game so it stays fairly the same. it has great knockdown power and is very accurate. in rb6 it was the g3 or the p90 for me. it's not great for CQB but in the open you will appreciate it. too bad this game doesn't offer the g3a4 wich is a cqb model of the g3 that one lacks some in the open but is great in tight sroundings.Comment
