I have read in BFHQ at sniper class unlockeble weapon something like "This is the most powerfull sniper rifle, it can even penetrate protected glass like the glass used on helicopters. Have anyone tried this yet ? Would be pretty cool to take down a BH like that.

You can manage to kill a pilot with M95 but not easy and most people don't even try.Comment

I have shot a heli pilot but nothing that would make someone say WOW! Heli pilot was right next to me capturing a flag so I shot him a few times with pistol but no damage, so I took out my sniper full zoom and shot him through the glass window. But remember this was like 3 steps away and through the side window. I've heard people say they've shot people whilst in movement but I can't honestly say I have.
On one occassion I had an enemy pilot not too far from me:
Map: Dalian Plant
Where: I was on the broken building, top floor. The enemy was in there Heli on the Heli port about to take off.
I am sure I had hurt him with my first shot whilst he was running for the Heli and when he actually went inside I directly shot him in the head, neck and torso through the front window but had no luck with either shot. I could clearly see my piercings through that window though and considering I shot him earlier I still didn't kill him.
This was done through the M29 (unlocked sniper).Comment

It's pretty difficult when they're moving even hovering to an extent but if you find a nice position overlooking an enemy airfield you can cause quite a bit of frustration.Comment

haha i love the m95 for sniping people. if you get a good position on the helo pads in their base you can prevent the BH or the other transport choppers from taking off.
My fav was when i shot the pilot thru the head 1 shot 1 kill, then someone else got in started to lift off and BAM shot him thru the head one shot one kill. Then yet another person gets in starts to take off gets a little higher before i killed him, then the 4th got off the ground started flying straight at me i shot him once, nothing reloaded my last shot and killed him and the chopper got out of control and smashed into tree's killing all inside! it was god damn funny... well till they all got pissed and came up the hill after me heheComment

I prefer to use my tank shells to kill them.
Just last night I was playing with some clanmates, I was on the other team. Cobra was hovering over enemy tank, and I remember to think before I shoot. So I shoot the Cobra pilot and the heli crashes straight onto my clanmates tank and I put another shell into him just to finish him off. "You have defended a flag" And yea, I guess you could do that with the M95 if you wanted to.

Its not the only weapon that can shoot through those windows. As far as I know the jet gun can shoot through them as well. Once I was shooting a chopper, aim for the cockpit for max damage and after firing for half a second I kiled both pilot and gunner, and the chopper just crashed into the sea. Its easier to kill only the pilot when dog fighting, just aim for cockpit and you can spare the missiles, its dosnt always work thoug.Comment

I've been in a blackhawk that had its pilot shot out. we started plummeting towards the ground so i jumped and parachuted out. but someone was clever enough to switch to the pilot seat and carry on flying and they were nice enough to stop and pick me up!Comment

One of the sadest and funniest moments I've had playing was when a guy shot me out of a heli.
I was going around killing things, like I do, when I noticed a rubber boat going towards shore. After strafing the target several times none of my rockets hit. I swing around and see the guy running on the land frantically jumping trying to get to cover, though there wasn't any. My rockets would bounce him in the air as they hit his feet. Maybe it was lag, maybe it was divine intervention, but something decided that I shouldn't be able to kill this man. I noticed he was firing at me, but thinking nothing of it continued my assault.
Now, I mentioned this was sad, because I spent a good 2-3 minutes of my life trying to annihilate this guy with an attack chopper and even with my great piloting skill it was quickly becoming very futile. The guy, I could tell, was freaking out, not sure what to do and probably praying harder than trying to kill me with his pee-shooter of a rifle. After I come around for another strafe, I pulled up a little and hovered, just to fix my aim (really, only a split second of pause). Suddenly I'm dead, my chopper spinning wildly in the air as my respawn screen pops up. My jaw just dropped. I quickly type out a fast "WOW, good shot!"
The response was quick... "holyshit, I got you? lol I thought i was deadmeat" I laughed the entire time as I waited for the chopper to finally destroy itself (it was still spinning with no pilot by the time I respawned at the airfield). Only time I've actually been killed by a sniper rifle in a chopper, they guy just had some great karma going for him.
