How many people are there already killed in BF2???

Just wundering about it, the absolutely total kills.

I have about 8000 kills , my ranking on the leaderboard is 2250 or something.
The number one has about 26.000 kills , so lets take the average of those two and we got 17.000 kills. So now we take

    2250 * 17.000 = 38.250.000 Kills for the first 2250 people in the ranking .
(looks about the best way to calculate this, isn't acurate, but comes near the real number) .

Then I took someone standing on about the 75.000 place in the ranking , he has about 700 kills .
So now we take the people between the 75.000 place and the 2250 placin in the ranking system meaning ...........

average of 700 kills and 8000 kills is 4350 kills average .
Between 75000 place and 2250 place there are about 72250 people .
    So 72.250 * 4350 = 314.287.500

Then I took someone from the 150.000 place in the ranking system , those have about 650 kills , the average of the 75.000 and the 150.000 place is 675 kills .
Between the 150.000 and the 75.000 place there are about 75.000 people
    75.000 * 675 kills = 50.625.000 Kills.

    Now we count those up

    38.250.000 + 314.287.500 + 50.625.000 = 403.162.500

There are about 650.000 active acounts for BF2 , but I will stop at 150.000 people because it would be to much work.

    But the conclusion is

At this moment speaking for the first 150.000 people in the ranking system there have already been 403.162.500 killed , this is about 9% of the population on this earth , the game is out for about 2 months now, meaning if we go true with this for another 2 years, almost the total population of this planet will be wiped out

seeing ur soo smart. how about calcutaing what my score will be in a week. if i play 2 hours a day get about 20-50 points each round.

and if you cant get that calculate the earths core density

A few random points to add to this very interesting topic:

                    - If you created a new account (using a name beginning with z), scored one kill, and then waited for the BFHQ update, you could find the cutoff position where everyone below would have zero kills.

                    - The distribution of kills would not be linear along the leaderboard table. For example, there would be a lot of accounts with just a couple of kills, due to starting a new account for fun or one-off use. At the top of the table, there would be a relatively small number of insomniac nutcases with a very high number of kills.
I know this is what you are addressing by breaking up the table into those three "bands", but I would say there would be a few weird spikes in the distribution. As an example, there would be an abnormally large number of people who have around 350-400 kills, due to getting their lance-corporal unlock, deciding it's garbage and starting a new account.

                    - The large number of people at the bottom of the leaderboard (with just a few kills) would have a relatively small total number of kills compared to the four hundred million global kill figure you have come up with. This means that it is probably not worth the effort trying to accurately estimate the kills for the very bottom of the leaderboard, as it will have only a small effect on the margin of error in your calculations.
Conversely, it is then worth concerntrating on the top half of the table to get an accurate idea of the kill distribution, as bad estimates here will have the greatest effect of the final data.

... just a few random thoughts I had. I never did do statistics in university, just pure maths - now I wish I had. Who is going to be the first person to do their Honours/Masters/PhD project analysing (emphasis on the anal part) the Battlefield 2 statistics? :)

Edit: You edited your post while I was writing this...

Man if you want your score in two weaks I would need your curent score.

But in two weeks you will gain an extra 3000 poins or less.

I know, this is why I only took the first 150.000 people and devided them in three parts . it isn't correct but the best way to do it.

For the people who don't care, well, offcourse you don't care , it's just something I put here for fun

You will also need to know how long each round lasts, to figure out how many rounds can be played in your two hour session.

Lowest estimate, assuming 30 minute rounds, 20 points per round:
                            (20 points per round) x (2 rounds per hour) x (2 hours) x (7 days) = +560 points.

Highest estimate, assuming 20 minute rounds, 50 points per round:
                            (50 points per round) x (3 rounds per hour) x (2 hours) x (7 days) = +2100 points.

Short, simple answer to this question:
                            It could be anything!

... yes at work, there can be a lot of idle time!
