Hey all...
I must say i love this game...
But there is one thing that an older game called Delta force used to have...
that this game does not...
Bullet travel time...
In delta force a bullet when fired would acctually travel...
Also the bullet would also fall down as well...
Long distance shots have to be aimed slightly higher then the target...
Gravity would pull the bullet down...
If a bullet from a certain gun travels at about 900 mph, the game delta force would calculate the travel of that projectile...
It was so nice...
That was the best part of that game...
I must admit that overall i like this game ( BF2 ) more...
But delta force was released about 5-7 years ago...
This game ( BF2 ) needs to have bullet travel calculations...
and it also needs gravity effects on bullets as well...
PS : when you shoot a tanks main gun, it seems like the shell "travels"
and the shell seems to be effected by gravity and trajectory...
So why only the tank shells ?
Why not the machine guns and pistols as well ?
I know this does not take too much CPU power because delta force had maps even LARGER then BF2 and had 32 and ( i think ) 64 player as well...
And im not kidding about the map size... some maps were close to double the size of BF2 maps... and this was about 5-7 years ago...
cmon DICE!!! dont get lazy...
eat some sweedish meatballs and get to work...
