How do you make dust clouds appear when you shoot the ground?

Hello, dear reader. We over at this thread:

Are having a problem. I'm making this thread with this subject has to attract attention from people who have done this.

have you made a map in which, when you shoot the ground, small dust clouds are kicked up? So have I! It works very nicely.

The question is, how do you do it? Because I can't remember exactly how, and dispite our best efforts in that thread I linked above, we can't get it working properly...

This is what I challenge you to do, oh mighty mapper:

Make a new map in either the BF2 mod or your own new mod. Tell us which you do. Make a bit of ground and make it so you can shoot it and get dust clouds.

Then post EXACTLY what you did. What did you call the map? What size/scale? EXACTLY what steps do you take to make this blank map have a bit of texture (what texture?) and what do you do to get the dust clouds?

Can you now make a new map and repeat this, and have it work?

PS whats the question? do you have that problem and trying to fix it or do you want to change the amount of dust clouds?

maranello, it's the same problem you're having, remember? :P dust clouds not appearing when you shoot the ground? I'm trying to draw a bit more attention to it. :)
