before you make this kind of thread, you should see if EA is going to be addressing the problem by checking on their site. Coincidentally, if you read the xfire interview they had (it's hosted on the ea site for you to read), you will see they are addressing a bunch of this ****.

Sorry but the M1A2 not being automatic is not a bug, and I see no reason why EA should even have to change a game feature because YOU say so.

here's why:

Its an M16A2. the fire modes are safe, semi auto and 3 round burst. The previous version, the A1, was used in Vietnam. This model had fire modes of safe, semi and full, with a 20 round magazine. The US Army changed this auto fire mode to semi and burst, so that soldiers wouldnt be pissing away ammo but would instead take slow, semiautomatic shots that were fairly accurate. The weapon itself is a very accurate rifle, as long as you dont piss away ammo. Do that, and you're talking major inaccuracy.

if they made the M16 automatic it would totally suck. Only a toolbag who NEEDS to hold the trigger would even think of that.

Yeh of course.. but this was just to make me feel better.

And maybe some EA executive will read this and become wracked with corporate guilt, and buy me a car. Or better yet, they could just stop releasing unfinished products onto an unsuspecting market in order to ship on deadline. I guarantee the programmers got shushed by the bigwigs at HQ who just HAD to hit the shelves by a certain date or else run the risk of throwing the earth out of it's orbit and sending humanity plunging into the sun. Or maybe they just want money money money now now now.

Dude no offense, but just shut the **** up. EA doesn't care about how you think. Yes i agree that there are a lot of bugs with this game, but this crap has already been posted hundreds of times. If you don't like the game then just go and return it back to the store. It's a $50 disc, you shouldn't be that upset about a game, because that's just what it is a game.
