How to be the Anti "Blackhawk-Squad"

    Heya.

Sorry if this has already been posted, let it fall into the abyss of forgotton posts.
But if it hasnt, hope it will help you get rid of those pesky BH teams hovering above the flag capping it in an instant.

Get spec ops, jump and throw the C4 up on the top of the flagpole. The pilot often can't see the flagpole itself and will just try and descend towards it, so when the Heli is close enough detonate 2-3 C4 packages and blow the heli back to hell where it came from.

Its kinda tricky to get it to stick on on the flag pole but a few practice tosses will do the job.
So good luck with bringin heli teams down =)

Credits to my collegeue at work for figuring it out :P

Couldnt stick my C4 to the pole. Spent about 20 minutes practising it, and not one stuck.

Yea this has been posted before. But I have tried, it takes some practice and waisted c4 packs. I can never get them real high tho..

This has been common for a couple of weeks now, apologies to your workmate but he didnt find it But the pilots have caught on to it now, and they can easily hover out of range and still cap the flag if its full, as the flag radius is huge in vehicles X6.

If your lucky or get a bad pilot you might take out a couple of crew, but they will spwn back on it in 15 seconds. For anyone trying this that has trouble throwing it high enough, its easiest to drive a jeep up to the flag and stand on the hood, it gives you the extra height to make it easy (dont park too close tho, or the ones that miss will stick to your jeep :drevil:

Dont forget you if you reload after the five C4's then the 6th one you throw will make the 1st charge disapear and so you can keep trying till you get it right if there is a crate or support guy nearby.

the last c4 you have works well to take em out to, when you throw it the detonater comes out fast so you can blow it at the peak of the arc, works well if you got one or two on the pole and need another.

the best anti black hawk squad is just four people.

Two AT guys and two support guys.

Support guys just keep shooting it and the AT guys each shoot a rocket on it, the BH is down in 1 SEC

I practiced for about 1/2 an hour a week or two ago.. got so that I could land 4 out of 5 on the flag. What worked for me was approaching the corner of the flag pole while looking up.. Hit the corner, wait to stutter step, jump, throw. I think I found that I needed to throw them a wee bit to the right.. though some other advice I read said to aim a little left. Heh, it's not too easy getting them on the pole, but I figured it out so it can't be too hard :p

Haven't gotten a chance to use it in game though.. I always forget when a blackhawk whore is in the air.

I've used this tactic a few times. Works especially well on the 2 starting MEC bases on Mashtuur. 12pts straight away, weeeeeeeeeeee!!!
It's really not that hard to get them to stick. Stand at bottom of pole, look up with cursor slightly to the right of the pole, jump and throw pack at peak of jump. If C4 pack misses to the left, aim a bit right and vice-versa.
When you do get one to stick, don't move your cursor and just keep jumping & throwing. Practice is the key, I get all 5 of mine to stick 95% of the time.
They will also take out a tank or other vehicle that is parked near the flag.
