do u play with a group of people? if so, what unlock would help best...

what do u usually do in-game - infantry, armor, flying, etc... all would have a class that'd effect them....

You gotta learn the range on it though. You cant sit on a hill and camp there, expecting to actually hit something. Works best for medium ranges.

i hate the pkm, get the g36c, ive probably only killed like 4 people so far with the pkm, i get more kills with my pistol

I passed on the PKM. The RPK-74 is my favorite machine gun. I just get more kills with it.

Both guns kill in 3 shots on non-armor. The PKM hits harder, 45 versus 35, but the RPK-74 fires 25% faster, so they even out. Both have the same stats otherwise.

If you reinstall BF2, don't patch, and use the all weapons cheat posted on many sites, you can play 1 player and test all the weapons.

I ended up unlocking the L85A1. It's a nice gun, but, requires some change of strategy versus what you're used to with the medic weapon. The L85A1 shines at long range. Snipe with it, go for headshots. This is a gun for people that like to take well aimed shots. Don't get in medium range gun battles where you are underfire from your target. Close up you need to go Full auto, prone and aim.

I pretty much play Support for when I expect a lot of targets at close range, or flag defense, Anti-Tank for armor, and Medic with the L85A1 for creeping around sniping at people.
