haha, you just trowed some mony away then,
my gues is you have baught an PCI-e(xpress) vid card, what you need is an AGP card, just go back to the store and try to switch your card for an AGP one, first look into your pc and look at the color of the slot where you want to put the card in, then go to the store and tell the guy

RAM dont Matter! Im on 128 MB OF RAM AND LOAD MY MAPS AT LIE A MINTE AND A HALF! MY CMPUTER IS LIKE A MIRACLE, I DIDNT HAVE A GOOD ENOUGH GFX CARD TO PLAY AA, BUT IT STILL PLAYED, HAHAHAH!

sirandrew don't rag on him, RAM will hardly ever be the amount it says it is, usualy its a good 2-4% lower than its rated, ie 256mb stick would actualy be 245 or something, never seen it that you have more than its rated for (ie 258) but hell its possible

512Mb Ram is the requirement, that is what it says on the box at least.
