You know funny thing is. I keep reading these requirements, and nowhere does it mention an x800xl??? Maybe they should just put x800 series as to not to confuse us x800xl people.

Also......EA is quick to point out that it's everyone's fault but EA. It's because you didnt update your drives, blah blah blah.... Though it maybe true that updating your drives does help, why in the world is it just for this game? I play HL2, WOW, Warcraft3, and Warhammer just fine!

EA needs to step up to the plate and take some responsibility.

I just sent EA a nice long tech email demanding some answers, I will post when they arrive. I too am very frustrated, I have tried everything possible short of a FORMAT which I ain't doing for this game! There is nothing wrong with my system. This game (BF2) plays fine on my older computer at 800x600 resolution all settings on LOW. An AMD 3000, 5700 Ultra game card (128MB), 1 GIG 2700 RAM, (yes 1 GIG). WTF?
BF2 PLays fine on my system on SINGLE PLAYER at 1600x1200 resolution and 70-80 FPS. Same with DOOM3 , HALF LIFE2, Ghost Recon, Delta Force, TW 05, NFSU2, MOH. Again WTF????

lol yeah...I tried calling them when i first got the game because i couldnt find the CD key!
What idiot places the cd key on the back of the manual and then programed the game to say it was on the CD case? I was about to return the game, a$$h0les.
