Has anyone had a problem rebinding the mouse to steer/roll/pitch? I'd like it on steer and pitch but when I try to set it I just get the "Duplicate key found in common controls" message. I've tried to manually edit the control file but have only ended up with weird text on the control options window and no actual binds. If anyone knows how to fix this or can post the config codes for the mouse bound to steer and pitch that'd be great.

I had that problem for ages! Very annoying. I'm not sure how I solved it, but this game is quite strange when it comes to simple things! -
So it IS possible to bind the mouse to steer? Could you post what your control config looks like? Just goto Docs > Battlefield 2 > Profiles > Whatever number your profile is and then open controls.con in notepad and post whatever you got in there. Would help me a ton.Comment

Nevermind I finally got it working. You have to remove the lines for mouse look when walking around, go in game and bind your keys, then go back and replace the lines. What a pain.Comment

The whole binding keys setup is frustrating.
I've had this same problem when testing different configs...couldn't ever get it to work so I selected reset to default...WHICH IIRC, resets the profile for all settings back to the default...not just the tab you're in.
I test all my settings on the demo now...and if I like it...I move it over to the full game.Comment
