The tip pf most tree tops will destroy your plane/helicopter. Sorry that's BS. Tree tops (at least 3 feet) should be flexible enough to just brush against the vehicle... like in real life. Don't give me no arcade crap either. No more than 3 feet cause then you'd get retards flying in tree tops.

As soon as your vehicle gets submerged it blows up killing you.. that's BS as well. It should automatically eject you and about 10 seconds later blow up.

automatically eject you ey? That sounds pretty damn silly. I will admit though that touching your vehicle to water is like submurging it in nitroglycerine. It's almost as bad as how Lara Croft would ignite into a blaze just by looking at fire too close (talking about old Tomb Raider). They do need to fix the issue with the water. As for tree tops, I've hovered around my tree tops in my chopper without too much trouble. In fact I've done many things and thought "damn, I'm suprised that didn't make me crash" So it's not too bad.
The water thing does piss me off though. Here is a great example : One time me and Ol' BillyBootleg were flying around in the big US chopper and almost got shot down. Billy panic'd and bailed out into the water, way far away from the ship. SOOO, I'm going to hover down low, above the water and try to get close enough to pick him up. Which I THOUGHT would work just fine... I get down really low, even checking my 3rd person view to see how much clearance I still had, and as soon as my sidebars (and only the sidebars mind you) touched the water, my choppers armor got sucked away and the chopper blew up almost instantly.
We've tried this many times since, just to see if it could be done, and everytime I'm either not low enough for him to be able to get in, or I touch the water just a little and explode. This needs fixing!

Nah, keep workin on it. I've had to pick up my clanmates a couple of times when they'd be using the in-game chat and accidently ejected themselves while we're over water (yet another bug). I manage to pick them up without a hitch. Tell ya what though, if I tried it in 3rd person view I'd probably have about the same amount of luck at it as you!

Speaking of how deadly water is though reminded me. Looking at the vehicle descriptions on the BF2 site, it says that the Vodnik is fully amphibious. The day after reading that I was heading full steam in a Vodnik going across a bridge, then realized that the bridge had been blown. 'Not to worry!', I thought to myself, 'I'm covered in my fully amphibious Vodnik!'. Well, you can see where this is going, but to it's credit, it did bob in the water a time or two before it blew. Never tried it after that,...maybe if you drive in from a beach or something it'll work, but not diving in off a bridge.

negative on instant kill over water, its like running into a wall, ive tested this a few times,when youre in a chopper over a bay or ocean, you can get to altitude 3 and be fine, 2 and you take minor damage, 1, when youre going fast, and its like hitting a steel rod with the blades of your chopper, it kinda swings you backwards and you go up like youre hovering. that does about 1/2 your choppers health. this is all done when going fast enough to lose altitude at about 1/second
