I've had BF2 a little over a week now, and to be perfectly honest I don't see what all the fuss is about. After years of playing other online games (namely CS, DOD + RTCW:ET), I've decided that there are always moaning fusspots no matter what you play. Aye, BF2 does have bugs, and commenting on this is OK, but you only have to compare it to the above games; it's so far superior there's no way I'm going back.

I am in the military, and I get alot of good laughs out of the game, its so far from real its hillarious. However that was not a complaint, but I am one of those people who complain about stats. And its my right to, I paid $50.00 for the game, with promises of being able to move up ranks, now TECHNICALLY I can, but realisticly NO ONE will ever reach the highest rank. I dont want to be the highest, I would mearly like to earn the ability to unlock the weapons and try them out. So for people complaining, if they payed $50.00 for the game, they can complain all they want.
I by no means was saying the game should be realist or be changed, however, stats jsut pisses me off. I cant get my $50.00 back so all I have left to do is hope they change the stat system

Can you name a single videogame forum without complaints? I think you'll find that it's less about the game and more about people in general.

you hit the nail on the head man. I have been involved with numerous games/forums and it's always the same. self-important people with their tedious complaints and pet peeves. they are ridiculous little people, really.

I am really enjoying BF2, and I think it's a great game. same can be said for CoD, BiA, MOH:AA, MOH:SH, Rome Total War (and it's predecessors in that series) and all the other computer games I have played over the years.

people who complain about everything put a nice, shiney bright light on themselves, and reveal their basically unhappy nature. just feel bad for them, and move on. and, enjoy the game!!

You should realise this game is a joke compaired to its full potential.

Something got cut back or screwed up in the making of this game.

It doesnt have to be as narrow and dull and buggy as it is.

For the last month more and more peole complaining about weapons,vehicles and performance in the game so that what i think about it:
From the beginning EA said that is the arcade game and not simulator of battle.So why the hell people think that is realistic game and they must shoot the BlackHawk down in one shot or to kill with 0.5 Barett with one shot.
I think peolpe must realise that this game was made for fun and not for running after stats.
If you want realistic game go and play AmericasArmy.

So all of you who think to run after stats forget it and start enjoy the game.

Listen. Someone will ALWAYS complain. You cant stop it. Even if this game was 100% bug free, someone would have something to complain about. People actually complained more before the game came out then they do now, which is good...I think. Anyways, I've gotten use to it, and so will you.

Come on, if it were really a battle simulator, one shot to your leg would cause you to go prone on the floor until a medic reaches you, and be constantly losing "Health?" through bleeding.

There would be no crosshairs, you couldn't fire for **** if you were running, and a stone would instantly take down a fighter jet flying at mach 2. No HUD. You just get shot once, and the world seems to spin around you.

You'd take time to enter and exit a vehicle, presenting snipers a free shot. Your M16 would jam most of the time, while the AK74s are happily mowing you down.

What happened to the tomahawk cruise missile? Destructible buildings : You wouldn't be protected from Artillery strikes if you took cover behind a zinc roof.

You can't jump in real life and launch a grenade to the floor. At least not to that height. The recoil would blast your ass back some distance. Even if you get shot ONCE, you lose the will to fight. Pain, pain pain. Shadows everywhere. Hallucinations.

There are a million more things that could follow this. The main point i'm trying to put across is to enjoy the game, and not rant about its imperfectness. Try placing yourself in the shoes of the developers. How do you think they would deal with this problem? Could you do a better job?

The reason so many people complain is the fact that so many people in game are complete asses, everyone punishes or whores some stupid weapon/vechical. The bugs just add to the whole picture, then again EA did realise a half finished game. But yall are forgeting something its EA, so no matter what we do/say/compain about they wont do jack less they get cash for it.

I have asked before. Name one online PC game that is bug free. IF companies waited for every game to be bug free before release would wouldn't have any games to play. Devs have deadlines. If they didn't care about the game they made they wouldn't make patches.
