Specs Quesion

I posted this in a support thread about a week ago and no one responded *so please don't delete or move this thread*. Here are some of my specs:

1.25 GB RAM
2.6 CPU
Radeon 9800 vid card

I still can't play on medium without lag. It works a little better when I only put some vid options on medium, but I can never get the full effect. I looked over at the requirements for playing on medium and each of these are good according to the requirements. I checked the other things too processor etc. and those are fine. I think it has something to do with one of these. Can anyone please help me out and give some suggestions?

32player servers, turn off voice, turn down sounds setting, little more ram, update firmware on router, terrian to low (heard it was a hog!), and update all drivers!

funny, your computer is more powerful than mine and I can run it on medium/high and 2x anti aliasing. If you are talking about lag in multiplayer it probably the servers. Most of us get serverside lag and theres nothing we can do about it.

Dude, i have a kickarse rig and still get lag on some servers because toolbags with dial-up jump on and kill the ping. Next time you get lag, check the pings (press tab) of other players. If there's higher than 250 pings then you'll certainly experiance some lag.

I have 2.0GHz 512RAM ATI 9700 XT.

I run geo high, textures medium, AA x2, and TextFilter high. Everything else is set to low or off. Lighting just make's thing's way to dark. NV google's anyone?

I get decent graphic's. Except for the blade's of grass and shape shifting hill's. :hmm: Lag for me is usally in beg. After about 15 sec's it get's better.
