Two things never fixed

In Battlefield 1942, mods for it, and Battlefield 2 two sorta problems remained the same.

1) Not being able to walk up a 2ft hill, wtf.

2) How weak the pistol is. Even though Battlefield 2 made the pistol better its still weak and takes several shots to kill someone with it. And, being a sniper lately I've noticed it even more because normally I can take an auto on with a pistol but because its so weak, I suffer!

Pistols are surprisingly strong, accurate and usable over long distances in BF2. You can even snipe with it.

Well if a pistol would kill with like 3 shots, then whats the point of other guns? You could kill anyone with pistol then with it's amazing accuracy it has now.

If you think the pistols are strong, you are on crack sir. They are extremely accurate, but not strong at all even though they were improved upon greatly from bf1942 and dc.

*EDIT* I'm asking for one or two shots less to kill, that's all. I am ALWAYS in moments where the person has 1 bar left when I run out of ammo. And what do you think about not being able to walk up a hill, LOL.

1 or 2 shots less wouldnt be that bad considering it takes about 7 to kill someone

Agreed about the 2ft hill, that cheeses me too.

The pistol i find great though. Run round Karkand with el pistola and see how many heads you pop at close range.....and heads are what you aim for.....drops em rool quick!!

I point blank shot a guy in the head with a pistol... it didn't kill him. The 2nd shot did.
So yeah.. the pistol is a little weak.. not by much.. but 1 shot to the head should have killed him

It takes me at least 3 or 4 direct hits to the face at point blank range to kill someone with the pistol, even though it should take only 1...Im suprised I even have 500 pistol kills seeing as how this thing is so weak in this game...

The head still can takes two shots......but if you DO ACTUALLY hit a noggin, it drops em.........

The pistol is accurate and strong, I've kill many a man with the pistol, beides it's only a secondary weapon, it's not supposed to be that great.

I'll take the accuracy over damage any day. Do we really want a Battlefield PistolsPwnEverything?

It's a 9mm...and it's strong enough + try shooting someone using armor with a pistol.
