C4 Exploit Everywhere Now

If that exploit is true i woul not like to know how to do it. For me, it would lose the fun of using C4. I love to be hided at someplace, watch a tank come for a flag and study its looking routine (some of them are like robots, 1st look at the right, then at the back, then at the left...), sneak behind him and blow him up. I love it!!

I barely ever get spotted by tanks.. They never look around =/ and when they do they look around so slow... Whats their sensitivity at? 1?

Heli's are the best thing to blow up C4's. When an enemy heli on a heli pad. No one around. Lay 2 C4's on it. Then run and hide. And my favorite is when they take off, go far, far away....and boom!

Today while doing this, their was a full load of players in a BlackHawk. I didn't know this. Thinking one, two players in it. Just right ontop of a attack heli repairing itself, after taking the flag base. Some on landing pad. And some in the attack heli. I detonated the C4's and wow!...a quick 20 points. Normally I get 1-2 kills, when the helis are very far away after taking off. But this one was a lottery, when a BH was ontop the pad and ontop the attack heli that players just entered. I had to do it.

The mysterious C4 explosion from nowhere is my buggy on your 6. In addition to retrieving C4, I'd like to see a coded detonator. So that you can individually detonate any one of the five charges or all 5 at once. You could have a field day watching from a secluded spot and taking out an entire squad one at a time.

It's easy to throw C4 50 feet...straight down. Perhaps you have your monitor sideways?

that would explain why i keep crashing jets when i try to gain altitude.
turns out i forgot to pay the monthly gravity bill and everything was floating upside down on the ceiling.

Maybe the C4 was thrown out of a helicopter - did that yesterday out of the chinese transport heli....

I can promise you it will go farther then 10 feet if you add forward movement to the jump and throw.

either i'm doing something wrong or it does not go very far when you do that.

also, you can crawl under the jeeps and hummvees and stick the c4 underneath them. this also goes to the question about being run over by apcs and tanks. you cannot get between the tracks or tanks and apcs but you can do it with jeeps/hummvees. not sure about the buggies though, i doubt it.

Im pretty shure you can get under tanks ( not 100% shure though), well i've proned under us Humvees enough times and sniped the guy out when he went to the co-ax however to be able to verify the uner humvee thingy

im pretty sure you couldnt be able to take out one tank w/ five c4s unless you stuck it in very specific spots. throwing it on the side wouldnt work.

I think you don't know the massive power of C4 , if you look at one pack the spec ops is carieing it must be more then 1Kg of C4 .

C4 is 1.34 times stronger then TNT , TNT has massive power, then if you actualy put one C4 kit on a tank, meaning there is 0mm space between the tank and the C4 , well, your tank is gone with one single C4 pack

Ever wonder how you could possibly have gotten c4'd in your tank with no one around? New exploit: throwing the C4 50 feet and more from the prone.

While C4 is very strong, I really don't think it would penetrate the armor in the fashion of BF2. Would it do damage yes, but it would not completely destroy the vehicle because the force of the explosion would primarily disipate into the open air.

To really be effective, it would have to be a shaped charge which focuses its energy toward the armor plating.

I could be mistaken, but this issue has been thoroughly discussed on the Forgotten Hope board by several guys who seem very knowledgeable about demolitions.

I always shake my head when someone kills me with C4 tossing. The explosion is too great to avoid and makes grenades look like firecrackers.

C4 should have to be set. Not spam thrown on targets.

Can any real life military players out there confirm that C4 is used in this manner? I find it hard to believe that soldiers can toss C4 like frisbees without setting them in some manner.
