Resupply Question - Ammo Bags

I have a few questions about the resupply bags that the support class throws on the ground....

1) How many can you throw onto the ground? I throw as many as I can (5-6), and I then I run out. If I wait 30-60 seconds, they seem to regenerate and then I have more to throw. Does this mean, if i spend enough time waiting to regenerate more, that I could throw an infinite amount of ammo?

2) How long do the ammo packs stay on the ground?

3) Do they stay after I die?

4) If there is a limit (i.e. you can only have 6 ammo packs on the ground at once, and if you throw a 7th, the 1st one you threw dissappears) what is it?

1) Technically, as long as you allow it to regenrate you have an infinite amount.

That is the only one I can give a positive answer to.

yes you have unlimited ammo (thats why support rocks) and the PKM (which is why support rocks)

3) Do they stay after I die? FOR A WHILE ATLEAST, IVE GOT AMMO POINTS AS MEDIC

Are you sure about the no limit to the number of bags you can have out at a time? I could swear I seem to remember tossing some out just to test and the most I could have out at a time was around 5. For every bag after the 5th I tossed, one of the previous ones would disappear (and no one was walking near to have picked them up).

eh well i throw quite a few at the start of karkland(MEC Side) and there doesnt seem to be a limit

As long as one of your team "picks them up", yes and of course it's instant resupply.

you get more points actually cause you dont automatically get a point by standing next to the guy

Yea, you know running over one.

i think i can only throw 4 or 5 with the pkm unlock (not sure because i really don't count it. but i'm POSITIVE you can throw out only 5 with the stock weapon). then, when i give time to regenerate and try to throw another one, it just "eliminates" (for lack of a better word) one of the packs i threw earlier.

if you want to test this, throw out all your ammo packs near you. then, when it regenerates, throw out another one a little bit further from where you threw the first 5 packs and you'll see one disappear.
