I just got my first unlock...
I did the medic gun unlock...
ITS SO SWEET!!!
I drop guys so much easier now...
And its good for sniping too...
I just wanted to say, that the medic unlock is REALLY awesome...

Love it here.

Long range sniping takes a bit of getting used to but I'm getting the hang of it. I used to have a .9 K/D ratio. Now its up around 1.1 and climbing.

indeed, many times the enemy and I have both been prone and I can lay down fire directed right at his head only to see little puffs of dirts and what not kick up around him as the bullets go EVERYWHERE BUT HIS BODY. Ridiculous, and the "oh just put it on single shot and its soooo accurate!" argument is just bogus, have fun trying to kill anybody even half way decent in CQB on single shot.

The medic unlock is only good in single fire mode. The reticle in auto fire expands way too quickly for it to be real effective.

Even in single fire mode the reticle expands too fast versus using the M16. This gun could use a little tweak, but not much.

Personally when I play a medic, I use the default guns over the L85.

i unlocked it as my first gun. and i have alot of mixed feelings about it.
most i kinda hate it. BF2 did a retard job with the recoil phyics on the guns. the pistal is the only gun that is half way true with the phyics of a real gun.
i mean, when you fire full auto, its not harder to aim the gun in the same spot, it that the stupid gun wont have a cross hair and act like your shoot blind folded at the hip.
i just hate that crap, it should be more like the G3. the recoil makes it hard to keep it from climbing up. thats wat recoil it, it just makes the gun recoil up back.so you have to focuse on keeping the gun centerd. but it doesnt matter on this game, cause on the screen it looks like your firing a 22.'s recoil but the bullets have no relation to ware your pointing.
in all, THIS GAME IS f***ed UP!!!!

L85 is by far one of the best guns in game. I can get tons of kills with it. The scope is so great. I pick people off all the time with it. extremely close range you gotta stick it on auto though. Ever since I put it on single shot my K/D ratio has sky rocketed.

Plus it's a medic gun. Meaning revive points and heals. Oh yeah baby.

I think the medic gun sucked. When i shoot somebody it takes half-mag to kill a person in semi mode. And i shooted at the head and little lower.
