The Freakin Commander Badge

Ok I need the Commander and Explosives badges to have all of the basic badges. I've read several other threads that give advice on how to get the commander badege but I just can't do it. I've played on 64 player servers with higher ticket counts, I spot everything I can, I issue orders to all my squads I resupply them even when they don't request it and I still can't get anymore than 35 points.

What the heck am I not doing? You can say what ever you want about who cares about badges blah blah blah but I think it is a cool feature that challenges you to do different things in the game. I don't go around bragging about what I have I just like to try to get them.

Any help you guys can offer as far as getting the commander badge would be much appreciated.

I got my commander badge with 22 people on Strike At Karkand 32 player version.

And for the Explosives. I got it in Songhua Stalemate by laying down mines. You have to lay down mines in the water pathways between the enemy flag and your flag. I didn't expect to get it but I did since I didn't even try to go for it.

dude, commander point r just points u've earned for being a commander regardless of what u do!! jump in a fully loaded blackhawk in mashtuur city, get over 50 points, and all u hav to do then is to wait for the remaining of ur 28 minutes!!

commander badge is 40 command points..

command points are the average of your teams points..

best way to get it..64 player server with 10 people playing...no kills, just flagcapping

no...when you're commander the points you get for killing, flag capping etc...don't count..

That's true, I've tried killing and capping flags and you dont get any points.

this is here to discourage commanders from running around shooting ppl, and flying jets choppers and such because all they should be focused on is commanding

For commander badge dont use arty as it will just decrease the tickets for the other team and yield you no points, thus making the round shorter. All you should do is hide in a spot and issue orders to your squads with occasional UAVs and supply drops. If there is a lot of flag swapping going on (ie caping a flag, having it capped by enemy, recaping the flag, etc.) you will get the points in no time.
