How do you get the purple heart?

I have seen a site that says how to get it but it seems unreal for some of the people to already have it if these are the stats you have to have.


So does anyone know for sure?

You have to play bad to get the purple heart. You need a 1:4 Kill to Death ratio. That's right, you have to die 20 times if you kill 5 people.

no, you have to have a minimum of 5 kills and 20 deaths.

by the way, i have a question, so far, i have gotten 10 purple hearts in-game since i got battlefield 2 (yes i know sad) the thing is, only the first one i ever got showed up in my stats, the other 9 never got recorded, even though the points and stuff from those rounds did. why does this happen? are purple hearts only allowed in your stats once?

Give it time. Sounds like the same problem I've had with my other badges. Certain servers just take a lot longer to report stats.

No...you don't understand...My points from these rounds got recorded, just not the purple hearts, ojnly my first one i ever got was recorded, and other after taht didn't get recorded, but the points from the rounds did, and these rounds were from weeks ago. its not that simple man, i think ea only lets you keep one purple heart.

That doesn't make sense though. You can earn more than one purple heart in real life. I don't see why they would stop you from earning more in the game.

But how did you die 20 times in one round? And 10 times no less???

I got 5 kills, ran to the back of the map and killed myself 20 times. :laugh:
