    The Jumping Physics In BF2

Okay, i have had this happen many many many many many times to me, and i am really pissed! noobs bunny hop 3 feet in the air and kills me with the m203 or gp30 -- i jump down an edge which is also about 3 feet and i lose health....i mean wtf is this, when was the last time u've lost health when u bunny hopped 3 feet in the air and came down?? over all, i dont think BF2 is a smooth game, in terms of collision. i think the call of duty is by far the smoothest game i have ever played. for example, when u walk up a set of stairs in BF2, ur screen become somewhat jaggy and moves up and down, but in call of duty, it seems that ur screen is perfectly still therefore makes the gamer feels unannoyed. also u dont lose health even when u jump 5 meters down to the ground from call of duty, while u lose almost 70% of ur health when u jump down a small buildin in BF2. I hope that DICE would fix this problem in their up coming patches, where u can only lose health beyond 5 meters instead of losing health beyond 3 feet....or something like that...

ok well look at it this way, when you're walking up and down stairs haven't you noticed that you take a step up, then your body stance goes back down once you bring your other leg up. It's not like your floating perfectly upwards, which I think makes BF2's "stairwalking" a little more realistic.

I fell off from pretty big heights and stayed alive, in BF1942 if I would of fallen from the heuights I did here I would of been a dead pile of goo.

jaggy as in ur weapon appears and disappears, well not really, i cant really explain it......k, u know how ur weapon becomes kind of holstered when u sprint, and it is at the lower part of ur body, and when ur walkin ur weapon is rised again? its kind of like that when ur going up and down the stairs, one second u see ur weapon up and another ur weapons goes in the position of when ur sprinting!! this really bugs me, and u cant use ironsight from time to time when this happens, its not a real problem but it just doesnt feel right...

I know what you mean, but that doesn't happen like that, well at least to me. I walk up and down stairs fine. But the thing that you jsut explained happens to me when I start lagging, even though I'm not sprinting the gun keeps going up and down.

I have sprinted up the stairs and all that happens is nothing. The gun just doesn't go down like it should thats all. It just stays where it is like you never sprinted.

yea, but i still think that DICE should fix the part when u lose health, even though its like 10% when u jump down from a low roof, i mean i've jumped down from a roof and i never lost 10 % of my life!!

Another retarted thing: If you start sprinting BEFORE you get to the top of a flight of stairs, a lot of times you go far enough forwards that you lose health when you finally touch the steps, easily avoidable, but losing a couple bars of health because you skipped the top 2 steps is retarted.
