bf2 wont start up

my bf2 wont start up, well the title will but not the actuall game. i re-installed about 5 times now and still no up. When i go to the demo it will start up but not completly it says Shaders/StaticMesh.fx not foun!!! _DO_check your working directory,_AND_sync your shaders foler befor calling upon local rendering programmer/GP. (really!). Before this happened it ran fine. My computer is not the top of the line but heck it works. Somone please help me.

be sure to uninstall BF2 all the way, profiles and everything, that means make sure there is no BF2 dir in you programfiles folder and no BF2 folder in your my documents, then unintall your drivers for your video card, restart your pc, install your video drivers (i suggest running driver cleaner before you reinstall your drivers), then restart after driver install, then install the game, restart, update to 1.02 and then restart again. Hopefully that will do it.
