My BF2 was working fine 6 AM yest but then i took a nap woke up at 4 and my new monitor arrived, i decided to install it but when i tried to play BF2 again after the BF2 flash screen the screen went black for about 2 secs then it went back to the desktop screen

Why is this happening

My computer has a nvidia 7800 gfx and all the right requirements the brand of the new monitor is Hyundai the monitor is a 19' plasma i tried to change the display settings to 800x600 and tried to re update my bf2 and pb but still not working so im wondering whats wrong

was it just a new monitor you added? BF2 is funny about puting new hardware into your machine. You may need to reinstall the game.
