Plane Bombs?

Well, After a long time of watching people drop those jack (the game, Jacks) looking bombs, I started to wonder how they did it? lol because I have been in every plane in those levels and primary or secondary dont drop em? Is there another button or somthing im missing? lol? Thanks for your help

ey m8 2 swap between bombs and missiles use the f button then when bombs are selected u will have a different crosshair now right click n bombs away and a tip when u bomb its easier to dive low and drop em but make sure u not 2 low and that u start 2 pull up b4 u bomb if not u kill urself

So, all planes have bombs? and when i hit F, the secondary fire becomes the bomb dropping button?

Yes, change to bombs then right click. Left click is always your gun

do it like you were scrolling through weapons. I have my mouse wheel set to cycle through weapons, it works the same on planes except you pick between air to air milliles and bombs.

Yes all JETS have bombs f-18/j-10/Mig have 2 bombs SU-30/34 and F-15 have 5 bombs

Just press F to switch or use your mouse wheel then right click

meh...I make f my parachute key. its alot more practical to have that the parachute and just cycle weapons with the mouse wheel imo

I sometimes manage to drop only 4 bombs of the 5 on the bombers. Is there a way I can only drop 1 at the time or something? I'd rather prefer bombing 1 target, then another a few 50m up ahead and then another nearby instead of laying waste to one specific area.

I think you referring to the "SnakeEye" bombs
or high drag
they are designed (in real life) for low and fast drops right in the face of the target
because if you had low drag bombs, they simply would fly along with the jet and then when it blows up, the jet gets badly damaged as well
Slick bombs are meant for dive bombing
(which is hard to do in BF2 because of the visibility restrictions)

now, to answer your question
you have NO choice of bomb types
they are aircraft specific (in BF2)
USMC = F15 (ie 2 seater)
and as I play the "red" team so little, I am just guessing it is also the 2 seaters
so, when you select bombs
just use the secondary weapon key you have mapped for the aircraft
(eg right mouse button, or the bomb button on joystick or whatever you edited)

never tried this,
but read it in the forum a long time ago
on one of your resupply runs, get only 1 bomb
then, go drop it,
this sets single bomb drop mode
then come back and get a full load

you are still set for single bomb drops
