Placement of Fixed Anti-aircraft Missiles: Wish I could have sat in on that meeting!

Dev1: Ok, we need to place the anti-air missiles.

Dev2: Wait, we're not done tweaking the tracking ability on them yet -- we've found that the missiles are more likely to hit friendlies than enemies...

Dev1: Nah, forget it. That's fine the way it is. Let's move on to the placement.

Dev3: Ok, now I was thinking that we want to place them next to walls to provide cover for the gunner.

Dev1: Excellent! We need to make sure that the wall is on the avenue of approach for enemy aircraft. Make it so the aircraft can fly over and drop his ordinance before he can be picked up by the gunner.

Dev4: Well what about trees? If we place them in between trees or overhangs and walls, we can really reduce their visibility from the air....

Dev3: Yeah but won't that limit the gunner's line of sight?

Dev1: So what? He's got heat seeking missiles. He can just fire and forget!

Dev2: Well actually his chance of hitting an enemy aircraft is only 14% and that's without obstructions....

Dev1: Great, it's settled then. Trees, Walls, Overhangs. Get on it. Then let's go play for a bit. I will fly.

          good one!

I believe they totally got the placement wrong!

The gunners should be away from the flag, hidden within the bushes and hills, where you got to go out of the way to take them out!

The lockon feature would be nice to have, but with the tank-like helicopters the bullets/missles would do so little damage so dont bother!
