Strange sounds! EA has easter egg sounds!

I found a few special sounds in the sounds map in my battlefield folder

3 of those sounds :

there were also sounds like Requesting Smoke grenades and stuff like that. Stuff that is not in the game YET! But they are in the sounds folders :)

actually it may not be a joke. See the thing on top of T98? that's right, it's a LASER. If you look closely on that box, you can see a laser warning sign.

How come the screenshot on the back of the BF2 box has what looks like the BH with some heavy guns on the side (looks like some sort of missiles) but it's not in the game..?

Nope it will come in a patch later this year. In 1.03 at the end of august there will be lots of updates

cover art was all done before the game was finished. they were going to be in but got cut. just like designator, binoculars, rapid deployment lines, etc.

I noticed yesterday on Songhua Stalemate that you can hear a barking dog. It sounds more like a chihuaha than an alsatian but it's cool nonetheless.

There's screaming at Kubra Dam and a multitude of sound effects around all the maps if you are still long enough to hear them. I find i hear them when i stop and give my squad orders.......some sound funny and some really add to the whole atmosphere of the game!
